Size of bindings to get?

I’m looking at getting Rome 390 LE bindings, the 06 model, but I can’t decide on the size of bindings. My current boot is a Burton Hail men’s size 9, and Rome’s sizes for bindings go sm/md 6-9, and then large/xl are 9 and up. What size should I go with because I’m afraid of overhang in the sm/md as well as straps being kinda tight, but in the l/xl they might be kinda wide for my boot and my foot might move around.
I’m not growing anymore so growing out of boots is not a problem or issue.

Yeah I agree. Large is gonna be best for you. On big bindings, you have the ability to tighten the straps up a lot, with a lot of room for adjustment. For example, my sister sometimes borrows my spare board, which has L/XL bindings. She is a women’s 9. Those bindings are only supposed to fit a men’s 11-13, but we adjusted them to their tightest settings and they worked. You will also have more room to grow. Also, burton boots tend to be bigger on the outside than most others. I have Forum size 12 destroyers and my buddy has Burton Hails size 11.5, and his make mine look like girl’s boots.
