What is passive and active voice and what is context bound and context free?

if a newspaper article gives someones full name eg mr john doe is this the use of the active voice, and is it also context free?

Active voice is when something is said in the first person, I , or when someone is directly speaking. eg, ‘i am going home’ said sarah
Passive voice is a third party recalling something eg sarah said she was going home, this is passive.
Context is the information surrounding what is said, when something is context bound it only makes sense when in a particular situation, context free is a sentence/statement that is aplicable on it’s own without the wider picture needing to be explained.
