looking for a video of a child a leg cast from the moment they enter the hosptal?.

My son (8 years), went skiing Sunday with one of his friends broke his left leg in three places. It 'was taken to the emergency room where they x-rayed the leg and put a soft cast on his leg until the swelling goes down. Must return on Wednesday to get a patch or put in fiberglass and does not know what to expect. Anyone can help?

Probably there no video, which, except for training purposes in schools EMT or some such place. Cast Techs are usually trained on the job. Cloth Long stocking will First, then some padding. Strips fiberglass will be applied. It should not take more than ten minutes at most to apply the cast. The procedure is not painful, if the bone fragments are still in place. Do not let that put sticks or a coat hanger inside the cast, in order to scratch an itch. This could lead to infection. Moreover, the cast will begin at the end of odor. There is no way to avoid this.
