Here are a few tips for getting the right ski boots from a ski rental shop.

1. Rely on established ski rental companies with excellent customer service records.Typically these companies have the best trained employees and are committed to ensuring your ski rental equipment is top notch. That means if you are unsatisfied with the comfort or performance of your boots, they’ll have the knowledge and service to find the right boots for your feet.

2. Bring the proper ski socks to the shop to try on boots. Often times the comfort of a boot is diminished by wearing the wrong type of sock. Be sure to avoid cotton socks as they won’t wick the sweat from your feet and tend to leave your toes cold. If you don’t have proper ski socks, let a ski shop make a recommendation.
