Anyone tried the DC "court" boots? Good as Burton or others?
Seem to adapt quite well and the pump system seem to stop any heel lift. These are as good as Burton Ion boots or better than others? I have a Burton Vapor and ride mostly freeride in the Rocky Mountains. They are comfortable and provide enough rigidity, support, etc. ..?
I have not tried any DC shoes, but I must say that the best shoes are those that measure the best. Just because I like Burton does not mean that we will work well for you and just because you like DC does not mean it will work for me. Try, as the boots you can and choose the one that offers support, fit and features you need. Also, remember that a boot that fits perfectly in the store is probably too big. A good measure in a start should be very close until I had the opportunity to break in a little '. I always buy my boots a size too small and after a few painful days that suit perfectly. There is nothing worse than a boot that does not fit right. EDIT: Regarding the statement of Burton is overpriced and overhyped, really have no idea What are you talking about. DC is the most hyped about the company and are the property of Quicksilver …. Burton is owned by a rider not a council of businessmen. If you compare the boot Burton Burton vs. DC will find is far superior. All their boots are built with function in mind while many of its lower end stuff DC built for fashion. All Burton boots have 12 degrees of forward lean built into them, which is a characteristic performance that everyone needs. DC stuff ends less is straight …. not too performance-oriented if you ask me. But as I said, get shoes that fit right and provide all the services you like. I would Never push a boot on someone, if it did not work for them.
