How can I make my work shirt (style Polo), which is a large in a small size?

My boss was that all we have left shirts outside of work is large … im a small so im swimming in this large. And 'style polo / shirt is cut to make them anyway skrink? What happens if you talk to a seamtress? Would be able to help someone?

Maybe take the shirt in a place that makes changes. They should be able to help. Good luck to you.
